How does it work?
The process is fairly simple. First, you design your custom fixie in the 3D Design Shop. We'll ship the bike to you in pieces and provide the tools you need to complete assembly. Once it's all done, you're free to enjoy the bike you built.

Do you provide the tools to build the bike?
YES. We didn't want to leave you guys high and dry, so we decided to include tools with every custom fixie purchase, and this way you won't have to spend extra money on the tools, let alone extra time to find the right tools. The only thing you'll need to get is a presta valve pump for your tires. We couldn't include it because it would've been too expensive for us to cover.

What about instructions?
YES. We also include some simple guidelines for you to follow as you're building the bike. We're in the process of getting video tutorials for you to follow. In the meantime, any questions about assembly can be Youtubed, or asked to us by emailing us at support@projektbike.com.

What kind of assembly is needed?
The difficult parts such as the wheels and headsets will come assembled for you. Parts such as the tires, crankset, chain, seatpost clamp, seatpost, saddle, stem, handlebar, and brakes will need some simple assembly. It's quite a fun and rewarding experience to say you built your bike yourself.

Do I get to choose to have the bikes delivered assembled or non-assembled?
YES, let us know if you want your bike assembled or non-assembled on the special instructions section in your shopping cart.

How are your packages shipped?
We ship your bike in pieces in two different packages. In most cases, your packages should arrive together.
